The new handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) processor along with IMG GE8320 GPU and 4GB RAM. Additionally, a Hyper Boost acceleration engine is said to enhance the performance and gaming experience.
In terms of optics, the Oppo A7n sports a dual rear camera setup on the back. It includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.4 aperture). A preloaded portrait mode allows you to capture portraits with blurred background.
For selfies and video calling, the 16-megapixel front camera comes with an f/2.0 aperture. An artificial intelligence (AI) backed beautification feature is touted to recognize 296 facial points to enhance selfies.
The new smartphone is backed by a 4,230mAh battery. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).

The Oppo A7n runs ColorOS 5.2.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Micro-USB with USB OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.2-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and pixel density of 270ppi. Additionally, it comes with a waterdrop-shaped display notch.
The Oppo A7n measures 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.2mm and comes in a Lake Light Green color option. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the back. Other sensors on the device include an ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, magnetometer, and virtual gyroscope.
