Price and Availability
The new smartphone comes in Black and Red color options. However, there is no information on its price as yet. It is expected to arrive in India as Oppo A5s.

The Oppo AX5s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor along with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It is backed by a 4,230mAh battery which offers 14 hours of video playback or 11 hours of gaming support.
In terms of optics, the new handset sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.4 aperture). For selfies and video calling, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Oppo AX5s runs Android 8.1 operating system with ColorOS 5.2 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB-OTG support. The mid-range smartphone sports a 6.2-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution and a waterdrop-shaped notch.
The Oppo AX5s comes with similar specs and features as the AX5 smartphone (Oppo A5 in certain markets including India). The Oppo A5 is priced in India at Rs 14,990. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
The mid-range smartphone features a 6.2-inch FullView display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio,and an 87.9 percent screen-to-body ratio. The 2.5D curved glass display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The textured back panel comes with a diamond finish and glass protection on top.
In terms of optics, the Oppo A5 sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.4 aperture). The 8-megapixel front camera comes with an f/2.2 aperture and Oppo’s Beauty Technology 2.0. The company claims that the new feature can recognize 296 facial points.
The dual-SIM smartphone runs ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It features a circular fingerprint sensor. The 4,230mAh battery that offers 14 hours of video playback or 11 hours of gaming support.
