The Oppo F9 sports a tall 6.3-inch LTPS TFT LCD display with full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the new handset sports a 25MP front camera (f/2.0 aperture) with AI support as the USP. The dual rear camera setup combines a 16MP primary sensor (f/1.85 aperture) with a 2MP secondary sensor (f/1.85 aperture).
The 3,500mAh battery comes with VOOC Flash Charge support (5-min charge will offer up to two hours of talk-time). The company claims that VOOC brings five 5 levels of protection to prevent overheating while charging.

The display notch is different from the usual iPhone inspired devices. It features a small teardrop-shaped notch. In terms of dimensions, the dual-SIM smartphone measures 156.7 x 74.0 x 7.99mm and 168 grams.
The Oppo F9 will be available in Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple color options. The back panel features a diamond pattern design. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear panel.
The new handset runs ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 OS. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB, USB OTG and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Oppo R17 sports a 6.4-inch display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The 3,500mAh battery supports the company’s own VOOC charging technology.
