Conclusion

The Oppo Find X 10GB RAM variant is sure to grab of attention. Previously, OnePlus was expected to sport a similar configuration in its next flagship next year. However, at this point, it seems like an overkill.

Most Android smartphones feature 2GB – 4GB RAM. Only the high-end devices come with 6GB – 8GB RAM option. However, the jury is still out on the utility of 8GB RAM on a palm-sized smartphone. Currently, the 13-inch MacBook Pro is backed by 8GB RAM. It remains to be seen how much difference the 10GB RAM makes.
