The Oppo Reno smartphone will be launched on April 24. The Snapdragon 855 variant is tipped to be priced around VND 14,000,000 – VND 15,000,000 (approx Rs 41,300 – Rs 44,000) in Vietnam. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

According to recent leaks and teasers, the first Oppo Reno smartphone sports a 6.65-inch OLED display with full HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels). It is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor with an actual gel on a graphite sheet to prevent overheating. Another variant with Snapdragon 855 SoC will use a copper tube and liquid cooling system.

In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom variant will sport a triple camera set up with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 13-megapixel tertiary sensor. A video teaser hints at a periscope style lens integration. Camera features include 10x optical lossless zoom and an Ultra Clear Night View 2.0 (records brighter clips in low-light conditions).

The Standard Edition variant will sport dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies and video calling, it will feature a 16-megapixel pop-up front camera (lifts from one side at an angle) called ‘Shark Fin’ selfie camera.

Oppo Reno 10X Zoom

In terms of dimensions, the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom will measure 162.0 x 77.2 x 9.3mm and weighs 215 grams. It is tipped to come with 93.1 percent screen-to-body ratio, 3.49mm thickness, and 1.49mm thin bezels. The upcoming handset will come in four color options – Midnight Black, Sea Green, Nebula Purple and Pink.

Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, 6GB/ 8GB RAM, and 128GB/ 256GB internal storage. The 4,065mAh battery will come with support for VOOC 3.0 flash charging. It runs ColorOS 6.0 (Android 9.0 Pie-based). Connectivity options listed are Bluetooth v5.0, dual-frequency GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

Recently, Oppo launched its F11 Pro smartphone in India at Rs 24,990. It will be available in the country on 15 March. The new handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 processor along with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The 4,000mAh battery comes with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.

In terms of optics, the Oppo F11 Pro sports a vertically aligned dual camera set up on the back. It includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor (with AI support, f/1.79 aperture) and a 5-megapixel (f/2.4 aperture) secondary sensor. The company has also added a Super Night Mode for low-light conditions.

For selfies and video calling, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel (f/2.0 aperture).front camera with a slider mechanism. It runs Android 9 Pie operating system with Color OS 6 on top.

The Oppo F11 Pro features a 6.5-inch LTPS LCD display with full HD (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution and 90.9 percent screen-to-body ratio. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. The handset features a 3D gradient casing. It will be available in Thunder Black and Aurora Green color options.
