The new variant comes with several changes. Thus includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor (instead of the MediaTek MT6885Z Dimensity 1000L chipset).

Additionally, the primary camera has been downgraded from a 64MP sensor to a 48MP sensor. The new handset also comes in three new color options.

The Oppo Reno 3 Vitality edition is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor along with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.

In terms of optics, the new handset sports a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor (f/1.7 aperture). It also includes an 8MP secondary sensor and two 2MP sensors.

For selfies and video calling, the new variant features a 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The 4,025mAh battery supports 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology.

The Oppo Reno 3 Vitality edition also features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The new handset comes with a small teardrop notch. It is only 7.96mm thick and weighs around 180 grams.

The Oppo Reno 3 Vitality edition is priced in China at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 30,500). It is up for pre-orders via oppo.com/cn or jd.com.

The new smartphone comes in three color options – Moonlight Black, Sky Mirror White, and Streamer Gold.

The Oppo Reno 3 was launched in China at CNY 3,399 (approx Rs 34,000) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs CNY 3,699 (approx Rs 36,999).
