Micromax has added yet another Canvas series device to its portfolio after the Canvas Doodle 2 announced recently, this one is called Micromax Canvas Tab (P650) which is an 8 inch tablet with large battery and calling feature. The Micromax Canvas Tab 8 Inch is priced at Rs. 16500 which is a decent price point considering the specifications like 3G support, calling feature, 8 inch display and a quad core processor and 1Gigs of RAM.

It features an IPS HD display with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels display resolution and runs Android Jelly bean 4.2 out of the box. It also features FOTA or Over The Air (OTA) Updates which allow to update the software versions on the tablet itself without connecting it to a computer or taking it to the service center.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smart watch launch (deliveries to start later) in India on 17th September 2013 which is just 2 weeks away from its global announcement at IFA in Berlin. We are really impressed with Samsung as a brand giving importance to Indian market unlike other brands which take months to bring their devices to India.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been priced at Rs. 49,900 and the Galaxy Gear is priced at Rs. 22,990. Samsung and Vodafone are offering 2GB Internet per month on Vodafone network with the Note 3.
