The Panasonic P91 is priced in India at Rs 6,490. The new handset will be available via all authorized retailers across the country. At its price point, the P91 smartphone will have to compete against the likes of quite popular Xiaomi Redmi 4A.

The Panasonic P91 features a 5.0-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor and 1GB RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB).

In terms of optics, the new smartphone sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash. Special camera features allow users to select scene frame, adjust exposure value, detect scene automatically, record time-lapse, and even scan QR codes. Additional camera modes include a portrait and professional mode.

The new handset also features a 5-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 2500mAh non-removable battery.

The dual-SIM smartphone comes with 4G VoLTE support. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, and FM. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Sensors on the device include a Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

The Panasonic P91 offers decent features at an affordable price. The company claims that the new VoLTE device delivers high sound quality.
