South Korean multinational electronics company LG is expected to launch its LG Q7 soon. Even before a launch date has been made official, a Geekbench listing has revealed that an alleged LG Q7 with Helio P10. In the listing, it is shown that the company is working on a new mid-budget device powered by a MediaTek chip.
Geekbench Listing: LG Q7 With Helio P10
The smartphone is listed as ‘LGE LM-Q7 10.FG’. The smartphone is built with a MediaTek MT6755 SoC. It is also known as the Helio P10.
The processor is an integrated octa-core CPU, clocked at 1.51GHz.
The Geekbench LG Q7 with Helio P10 listing also mentions that the smartphone will be built with 4GB RAM. It will also speculatively run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
In the Geekbench single-core test, the device received a modest score of 630 points. In the multi-core test, it received a benchmark score of 2322 points. The smartphone is predicted to succeed the LG Q6 launched last year.
The LG Q6 was amongst the first mid-range devices to sport the new 2:1 form factor. The speculated phone will probably have the elongated design language. It will also be curious to see if the device will have a notch like all the other recent phones.
Recent Development: LG Q7 ThinQ Launched
The company even launched the LG Q7 ThinQ recently. It is also the first Android smartphone to sport a dedicated Google Assistant button. The smartphone is also equipped with AI camera functionality. The company hasn’t revealed when the device will be launched in India. The company mentioned that the device will enter the South Korean markets soon. It will be followed by markets in Europe, Asia, and North America. The flagship smartphone is built with a 6.1-inch LCD display. The display has a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels. The displays provide a “Super Bright” mode. It can increase brightness up to 1,000 nits.
The screen is also equipped with a notch. The notch can be customized or covered according to user preferences. The LG G7 ThinQ is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor. It is backed by either 4GB RAM+64GB storage or 6GB RAM+128GB storage. In the camera department, the device sports a 16-megapixel primary sensor. The primary sensor is at f/1.6 aperture with a wide-angle 107 degrees 16-megapixel shooter (f/1.9 aperture). Up front, it is equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera. It has a f/1.9 aperture.
