The J series is currently one of the biggest selling smartphones in markets all over the world. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy J6 for 2018 has been going through a lot of leaks for quite some time.

Samsung Galaxy J6 Spotted In FCC; Equipped With Infinity Display

Dutch publication Galaxy Club has revealed that the smartphone’s listings are present on the website of FCC. The listings reveal some of the features and specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

According to the listing, the Galaxy J6 will have a 5.6-inch display. This means that the screen won’t be too tall. However, the screen will be an Infinity Display, just like the other top-end Samsung smartphones. The listing also speculates that the device will be dual-SIM supported. The device will also be equipped with a micro USB cable, a 3.5mm headset and a 1 amp charger.

The smartphone has been earlier seen on benchmarking website Geekbench. The Galaxy J6 is predicted to powered by an older processor, Exynos 7870 SoC. It is an octa-core SoC. It clocks at 1.6GHz, Cortex A-53 CPU. The processor is also paired with 2GB RAM. The device received a benchmark score of 3,643 points in multi-core performance and a single-core test score of 726 points. The smartphone will probably run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. Details regarding the optics department are not yet known properly.

Samsung Galaxy J6 Other Speculations And Leaks

The Galaxy J series will also include J8, J7, and J3 this year, 2018. They have already been spotted on the web. However, it is still not known when the company will launch these models. They are speculated to be priced at mid-range. The J8 has been leaked the most from these series in terms of details and specifications. It is speculated to run Android 8.0 Oreo. It will probably be powered by an Exynos 7870 processor. The processor will have eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.6GHz along with LTE CAT 6.2CA Modem. It will probably sport 16MP front and back cameras, with 3GB RAM. In terms of display, it is like to be built with a 5.5-inch display (720×1280 pixels resolution).

Earlier Samsung’s Galaxy S9 was also spotted online on TENAA. It is predicted to be equipped with a dual camera setup on the back. It is the younger sibling of S9. The smartphone will be equipped with a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display, an octa-core Samsung Exynos 9-series 9810 processor, and 4GB/6GB RAM. Even some alleged Samsung patent listings were leaked earlier, which speculated a Galaxy smartphone to have an iPhone X-like notch. In April, even the specifications of Galaxy Note 9 were leaked. The smartphone is speculated to go with a bigger battery pack.
