Karbonn has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Karbonn K9 Smart 4G. Under the hood, the phone packs a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution and 240 ppi pixel density.

The phone features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

Karbonn has launched a new smartphone in its Quattro series, dubbed the Karbonn Quattro L45 IPS. As far as specifications are concerned, it is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 854×480 pixels resolution.

On storage front, it houses 8GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. The handset sports a 5 mega pixel primary camera with auto focus and LED flash while there is also a 2 mega pixel front shooter accompanied with LED flash.

The USP of the phone is that it comes bundled with a free VR headset to deliver virtual reality experience to the users. The glasses of the VR headsets are built with sturdy ABS plastic fiber and come fitted with bi-convex lenses which augment a video to provide a theatre-like experience to the users.

It also comes pre-installed with several games and video content and allows users to create their own VR videos using the VR app.
