Leading domestic smartphone brand, Micromax has launched its Canvas Xpress in India. This smartphone is Powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor and runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2. It comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display. It is equipped with 1 GB RAM while 8 GB ROM is expandable up to 32 GB. It sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with auto focus and the 0.3 mega pixel front camera with 720p video recording and playback. It packs a 1950 mAh battery. This all new smartphone is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa core processor and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. Featuring a 5 inch (12.7 cm) qHD IPS display, it is equipped with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal memory (Expandable up to 32 GB). Taiwanese electronics company ASUS has launched a new smartphone Asus Zenfone 5 Lite (ZenFone 5- A502CG) in India. It is the lighter sibling of its predecessor Asus Zenfone 5 smartphone which was launched earlier this year. Zenfone 5 Lite is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with Hyper-Threading and runs on Android 4.4 operating system with ZenUI which provides faster performance. Indian mobile handset company Lava has brought an addition to its Iris series with the introduction of Lava Iris 401. Fonearena reports that this phone has appeared on the mobile phones listing of the company’s official website. The information about the availability and price has not been revealed yet. This phone is more like an upgrade done to its elder sibling Iris 401e.

This phone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system which brings nothing new since smartphones with latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system are available in the market.
