Vivo has launched its latest Vivo X21 smartphone in China. The new smartphone is the company’s second device to sport an under display fingerprint sensor. Price and Availability

The Vivo X21 is pricedin China at CNY 2,898 (approx Rs 29,900) for the 64GB variant. The 128GB variant comes with a price tag of CNY 3,198 (approx Rs 33,000). Both variants will be available in China from March 24. Color options include Ruby Red, Aurora White, and Black.

The special 128GB variant with an under display fingerprint sensor will cost you CNY 3,598 (approx Rs 37,100). It comes in Black and Ruby Red color options. Sales start from March 28. As of now, there is no information about an Indian launch date or price.

The Vivo X21 sports a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor along with an Adreno 512 GPU and 6GB RAM. The new handset is backed by a 3200mAh battery with fast charging support.

In terms optics, the Vivo X21 sports a vertically-aligned dual camera setup (with LED flash) on the back. It combines a 12-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.4 aperture). The 12-megapixel front camera comes with a f/2.0 aperture, IR fill light, 3D mapping, and Face Wake facial recognition.

The new Vivo X21 measures 154.5 x 74.8 x 7.4mm and weighs 156.2 grams.  Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0 with OTG support, and GPS.

The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with FunTouch OS 4.0 on top. Sensors on the device include gravity sensor, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope.

The company is all set to launch the Vivo V9 in India on March 23. The upcoming smartphone is tipped to sport a 6.0-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. In terms of optics, the Vivo V9 is said to sport a vertically-aligned dual rear camera setup (12-megapixel primary sensor + 8-megapixel secondary sensor) and a 24-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera.
