Oppo has taken the wraps off its two new camera focused smartphones, dubbed the Oppo R9 and the R9 Plus. The company had been teasing these smartphones on its Weibo account lately, now both smartphones have finally seen the light of the day.

The R9 Plus is essential the larger variant of Oppo R9 and both smartphones pack a lot of similarities. They feature a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button which can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds. Both phones also support VOOC flash charge that is claimed to deliver up to 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes for charging. Xiaomi has finally launched its Redmi Note 3 smartphone, in the Indian market. While the device was originally launched with MediaTek processor in China, the company has launched the Snapdragon 650 powered variant of the Redmi Note 3 in India.

The Redmi Note 3 comes with stunning all-metal body design and is the first smartphone from company to feature a fingerprint sensor for additional security. Besides fingerprint scanner, the phone also offers a 5.5-inch full HD display, decent camera combination and massive battery.

Lava has introduced its latest affordable smartphone, called the Lava A71 4G. As far as the specifications of the phone are concerned, it is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, which is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

On the front, there is a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels and pixel dennity of 294ppi. The screen features Corning Gorilla Glass for protection against scratches. It houses 8GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Oppo has launched its camera focused F series smartphone dubbed the Oppo F1 in India. Highlight of this phone is its camera department. The phone sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture while there is also an 8 mega pixel front facing camera onboard with f/2.0 aperture.

It comes with several features such as Beautify 3.0, 8 live color filters and the screen of the phone can be used as a flash light in low lighting conditions.

Lenovo kicked off 2016 with the launch of Vibe K4 Note smartphone in India. Now the company is gearing up to bring the Vibe X3 to the Indian market. Lenovo Vibe X3 India launch is set to take place on January 27, 2016.

The Vibe X3 succeeds the Vibe X2 phone and was first introduced in China in 2015.
