Shenzen-based Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has revealed a tie-up with Marvel for the upcoming movie Avengers: Infinity War. The announcement has come just ahead of the launch of its flagship smartphone OnePlus 6. The announcement has led to speculations that a OnePlus 6 Marvel Edition will also soon be released.
Through a Twitter post by its official India handle, the company displayed a poster announcing the tie-up. It directly indicates that a OnePlus 6 Marvel Edition will soon be revealed. It is reminiscent of the previously launched Stars Wars Edition of the OnePlus 5T.

The new Avengers: Infinity War movie will release on 27th April 2018 in India and globally.
In a statement via Android Central, the company did confirm the Avengers One Plus 6 smartphone. Here is the company’s statement:

Earlier, a blue-colored version of the Avengers edition was leaked online. The smartphone is expected to be launched in the May-June time period. The company has not announced an exact launch date for the device.

Some Key Features And Specifications Of OnePlus 6
Several features and specifications of this flagship device have already been revealed. The smartphone will sport a notch on top, with an edge-to-edge display. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor, with 8GB RAM.

The smartphone will be sold through Amazon exclusively which has been confirmed by the company’s video teasers in Indian movie theaters. The smartphone’s camera will sport 16MP+20MP sensors at the rear. The device has also received a water and dust resistant rating.
