American multinational telecommunications company Motorola is expected to introduce their next-gen Moto G6 lineup this week in Brazil, on 19th April 2018. The G6 lineup includes Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, and Moto G6 Plus. Just before its speculated launch, the G6 Plus has appeared on benchmarking website Geenkbench.

Earlier Moto G6 Plus images appeared in Slashleaks, which seemed to be credited to Twitter.

In the Geekbench appearance, the G6 Plus is said to be the highest among the models. It achieved a single-core test score of 886 and a multi-core test score of 4,123. The listing also threw light on other specifications of the smartphone.

According to Geekbench, the Moto G6 Plus will be powered by Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC, with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

Moto G6 Plus Specifications

Earlier it was predicted that the device would be built with Snapdragon 630 SoC, but Geekbench states that it will be powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC. Speculations have stated that the G6 Plus will be presented in a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant as well. It also seems that the device will run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Earlier render leaks of the device along with its lineup were spotted on the internet. Based on those leaks, it has been predicted that the Moto G6 Plus will sport an 18:9 display screen. It is predicted to be equipped with a 5.7-inch display. The bezels will be narrower but will continue to be prominent on the top and bottom. Even the front fingerprint sensor is expected to be retained on the device.

In the camera department, the device is expected to sport a rear dual-camera setup – 12MP and 5MP sensors. The smartphone is also expected to include a 16MP sensor with a LED flash up front.

The Moto G6 has already been revealed on Amazon. It is expected to feature a 5.7-inch Max Vision display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is speculated to be powered by an octa-core 1.8GHz processor. The G6 Play has also been leaked through hands-on photos with some necessary information. It is expected to be powered by 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC.
