It is being reported widely that leading Chinese smartphone companyHuawei’s AI assistant is being developed to understand human emotions in a better way. Huawei AI assistant released in China, back in 2013. It boasts over 110 million users. But it, however, has fallen short against Apple’s Siri, Amazon’s Alexa, Samsung Bixby and Google Assistant.
It has surfaced online that a smartphone manufactured by Xiaomi has received a certification from Chinese certification agency TENAA. The new Xiaomi device has a 6-inch display, and 3 storage, RAM variants. It is believed to be the Redmi S2.
Taiwanese multinational tech company Asus launched the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 on 23rd April 2018. The smartphone has been set at starting price of Rs. 10,999. During the launch, it was revealed that the smartphone will be sold via Flipkart from 3rd May 2018– in partnership with ASUS.
South Korean multinational electronics company LG’s flagship smartphone LG G7 ThinQ (to be unveiled on 2nd May 2018 in New York) could be getting a dedicated Google Assistant button. According to a CNET report, the Google Assistant button will be on the left side of the device. The power button will be on the right and the fingerprint reader on the back.
A new competitor in India’s mobile phone market, Tambo Mobiles has debuted with three smartphones and six feature phones. The smartphones have been categorized as ‘Superphones’ and are available in black, champagne and blue colours. Meanwhile, the feature phones are categorized as ‘Powerphones’. Both the categories fall under a price range of Rs. 600 to Rs. 7,000.
Chinese technology company Vivo launched their latest V9 flagship smartphone’s modified variant, Vivo V9 Youth. The customized model has been released to meet the increasing demands of their growing young and dynamic consumer base. Priced at Rs. 18,900, the device will be available in black and gold colors across all offline stores from 20th April 2018. It will also be available online on Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm Mall and Vivo E-store from 24th April 2018.
It was pretty surprising for the Indian Android geeks last year when Chinese electronics and software company Xiaomi released the Mi A1 in India– a stock Android smartphone. Earlier, the company had launched it in China, with the Mi 5X namesake. The device set expectations high, and now the Xiaomi Mi A2 (Mi 6X) will be launched in China, on 25th April 2018. Android and Xiaomi fans are excited about this upcoming device and have been treated to a teaser by a leaked promotional video.
