Since the start of sales on Flipkart and Amazon, at 12 a.m. on February 1, Honor 5X smartphone has witnessed strong demand, like its predecessor the Honor 4X. Honor 5X is available in 3 colors: gold, silver and grey at the retail price of Rs. 12, 999. Honor 4X, the predecessor to Honor 5X, received an overwhelming response and Honor 4X units were sold out within a minute of the flash sale, and the model sold over 10 million units globally.

Micromax has expanded its Canvas series with the launch of Micromax Canvas Juice 4 smartphone. Highlight of this phone is its 3000mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 385 hours of standby time.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch FWVGA display with resolution of 854×480 pixels.

Gionee has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Gionee P5W smartphone, in India.

Under the hood, the P5W is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
