The new Samsung Chromebooks sport similar specifications and features. While the Chromebook 4 sports an 11.6-inch HD (1366 x 768 pixels) display, the Chromebook 4+ features a 15.6-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels).
Samsung claims that the new Chromebooks come with several upgrades over the previous generation. Both laptops bring ‘real performance and sleek design at a highly accessible price point.’

Both the Samsung Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4+ are powered by an Intel Celeron N4000 processor along with Intel UHD Graphics 600 integrated graphics, 4GB/ 6GB LPDRR4 RAM, and 32GB/ 64GB eMMC storage.
Both laptops are powered by 39Whr batteries and ship with 30W USB Type-C power adapters. The 720p HD webcam is accompanied by stereo speakers (two 1.5W speakers).

The Samsung Chromebook 4 measures 287.9 x 202.3 x 16.7mm and weighs 1.18kg. Whereas the Samsung Chromebook 4+ measures 359.7 x 244.9 x 16.5mm and weighs 1.7kg.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, USB Type-A (v3.0) port, microSD multimedia card reader, and a single headphone/ mic combo jack. While the Chromebook 4 has a single USB Type-C port, the Chromebook 4+ has two USB Type-C ports.
Both the Samsung Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4+ come in the Platinum Titan color option. Additional features include island-style keyboards, Google Assistant support, and Google Play Store for Android apps.
