The Coolpad M3 is priced in China at 799 yuan (approx Rs 8,100). It comes in Gentleman’s Enamel and Blue Sea color options. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

The entry-level handset is powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek MT6750 processor along with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It is backed by a 2,800mAh battery that comes with a standard 5V/2A charger.

In terms of optics, the Coolpad M3 sports a vertically aligned dual camera setup on the back (with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and an LED flash). The 5-megapixel front camera comes with AI beautification feature (it can distinguish between a male and female) and AI face recognition.

The new handset measures 149.3 x 72.3 x 8.95mm and weighs 171grams. It sports a 5.85-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution (1512 x 720 pixels) and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone features a display notch on top. Whereas the rear panel is made from glass which reflects different shades of blue/black at different angles.

The Coolpad M3 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It features a fingerprint sensor at the back. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Recently, the Coolpad Note 8 was launched in India at Rs 9,999. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6750T processor along with MaliT860-MP2 GPU and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB).

In terms of optics, the Coolpad Note 8 sports a dual camera setup on the back. It uses a 16-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.0 aperture, autofocus) and a 0.3-megapixel secondary sensor. The 8-megapixel front camera comes with 4P lens and f/2.2 aperture. Camera features include blur mode, panorama mode, and face beauty for selfies.

The company claims that the 4,000mAh battery offers up to 200 hours of standby time and up to 8 hours of talk time.
