Price Rs 16,990

The Vivo Y95 price in India is set at Rs 16,990. It comes in Starry Black and Nebula Purple color variants. The new handset will be available across all leading online platforms (including Amazon.in, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, etc), Vivo’s online e-store, and offline partner stores. Launch offers include no cost EMI (up to 15 months), Rs 1,500 Paytm cashback coupon, and 3TB free data from Reliance Jio.

To recall, the Vivo Y95 is priced in the Philippines at PHP 13,999 (approx Rs 19,161). It is now available for purchase via Vivo shops and partnered online stores. The new handset comes in Starry Night Black and Aurora Red color options.

The new handset is powered by a 1.9Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 (12nm) processor along with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card. It is backed by a 4,030mAh battery.

In terms of optics, the Vivo Y95 sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.4 aperture). Camera features include ‘depth effect’. Whereas the AI that can identify and optimize up to 140 different scenes.

For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone sports a 20-megapixel sensor (with AI support, f/2.0 aperture) on the front. It also comes with AR technology that allows you to use unique looking stickers on your selfies.

The Vivo Y95 features a 6.22-inch full-in cell Halo FullView display with HD+ resolution (720 x 1520 pixels), 19:9 aspect ratio, 88.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a waterdrop-shaped notch on top. It measures 155.11 x 75.09 x 8.28mm and weighs 163.5 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, FM radio, a Micro-USB port with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with Funtouch OS 4.5 skin on top. It comes with Face Unlock feature. A fingerprint scanner is placed at the back. Other sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, proximity sensor, and a virtual gyroscope.
