GoPro Hero 7 Black Launched in India Alongside Silver and White Editions

GoPro has launched three new action cameras in the Indian market. All three cameras are part of the company’s s latest Hero 7 range. The GoPro Hero 7 Black is priced in India at Rs 37,000. While the GoPro Hero 7 Silver costs Rs 28,000, the GoPro Hero 7 White comes with a price tag of Rs 19,000. All three models will be available from September 27. Interested customers can pre-order on GoPro.com.

In the US, the GoPro Hero 7 Black is priced at $399 (approx Rs 28,800). Whereas the GoPro Hero 7 Silver and GoPro Hero 7 White will be available at $299 (approx Rs 21,600) and $199 (approx Rs 14,400), respectively. Sales start on September 30.

Specifications and Features

While the Hero 7 Black allows 4K video recording at 60fps, the Hero 7 Silver supports 4K recording at 30fps. The Hero 7 White lets you capture full HD (1080p) videos at 60fps. Additional features include new models include 2.0-inch touchscreen display panels and water resistant (up to 10 meters) build. Let’s take a closer look at the new actions cameras:

The flagship model sports a 12-megapixel sensor with HyperSmooth Stabilization mode (offers gimbal-like stabilization). An ultra slo-mo mode allows you to record full HD (1080p) videos at 240fps (8x slower than normal). Additional features include TimeWarp video feature, SuperPhoto mode, enhanced audio, portrait mode, and photo timer.

The Hero 7 Black comes with an automatic live sharing feature and follows verbal commands (support 14 languages). Users can also add GPS-based stickers to their videos via the GoPro app. The app also offers on-the-go sharing when the camera is connected.

GoPro Hero 7 Silver, Hero 7 White

Apart from the 2.0-inch LCD display panel, both the GoPro Hero 7 Silver and Hero 7 White sport 10-megapixel image sensors. Both models support 2X slow-motion video recording. You can also shoot vertically. Additional features include Short Clips, photo timer, voice control, and auto-transfer (via the GoPro app).

While the Hero 7 Silver supports 4K recording at 30fps, the Hero 7 White lets you capture full HD (1080p) videos at 60fps. Other features are almost identical.
