The GodMode feature allows you access to almost all the operating system settings in one place. You can then easily control all settings, features and other functions with a single click through the GodMode folder. The real name is the Windows Master Control Panel shortcut. However, GodMode is the nick name that stuck over the years.

The GodMode allows you to easily customize your Windows according to yours needs. While most consumers have little need for this feature, it is quite useful for advanced enthusiasts. You can tweak everything from the notification area in the task bar to the resolution of the monitor.

Here’s How To Activate GodMode Feature In Windows 10

  1. Right-click on the desktop or any other location want the GodMode folder to be.
  2. Click on New > Folder.
  3. Now, right click on the folder.
  4. Select the ‘Rename’ option.
  5. Copy and paste the ‘GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}‘ and press Enter. You can choose another name instead of ‘Godmode’ as well if you follow it with you add a period followed by the exact text string i.e. {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}.
  6. Now, the folder name will be automatically changed to GodMode and the Folder icon will be replaced with Control Panel icon.
  7. Double-click on the new icon to access universal settings panel.
  8. That’s it!

The God Mode folder will offer you around 40 different settings, including Devices and Printers, Credential Manager, Indexing, etc. However, proceed carefully as you could cause some damage to the OS.
