InFocus has launched its M350 smartphone in India. The handset is priced at Rs. 7,999 and will go on sale exclusively on Snapdeal following flash sales model starting June 26, 2015.
This budget smartphone will go up against Yu Yuphoria, Lenovo A6000 Plus and Xiaomi Redmi 2. Processor & RAM
The InFocus M350 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6732 processor clocked at 1.5GHz while all other three handsets are powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. Redmi 1 comes with 2GB of RAM and other three handsets house 2GB of RAM.
Display
Xiaomi Redmi 2 again lags behind in this department by featuring a smaller 4.7-inch display as compared to 5-inch HD IPS display of rest of the three competitors.
Storage
The Infocus M350, Yu Yuphoria and Lenovo A6000 Plus house 16GB of inbuilt storage as opposed to 8GB of internal storage of Xiaomi Redmi 2. InFocus M350 comes with more expandable storage of up to 64GB. Rest of the three devices offer 32GB of inbuilt storage via microSD card.
Camera
There is an 8 mega pixel auto focus camera on the rear of each handset. The InFocus M350 again leads in front facing camera competition with an 8 mega pixel secondary camera. Yu Yuphoria sports a 5 mega pixel front camera while Lenovo A6000 Plus and Redmi 2 feature a 2 mega pixel front facing camera.
Battery & Connectivity
The InFocus M350 packs a 2500mAh battery followed by Lenovo A6000 Plus with 2300mAh battery. The Yuphoria and Redmi 2 are backed up by 2230mAh and 2200mAh battery respectively.
All the four handsets offer 4G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as connectivity options.
Operating System
InFocus M350, Lenovo A6000 Plus and Xiaomi Redmi 2 run Android 4.4 KitKat operating system wrapped under their respective UI’s. The Yu Yuphoria runs Android 5.0 based Cyaonogen OS 12.
Price
Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Yu Yuphoria carry the lowest price tag of Rs. 6,999 followed by Lenovo A6000 Plus with price tag of Rs. 7,499. InFocus M350 is priced at Rs. 7,999.
Verdict
Xiaomi Redmi 2 carries the lowest price tag but lags in many departments. Yu Yuphoria and Lenovo A6000 Plus give tough competition to InFocus M350. Yet, out of all the all smartphones compared here, InFocus M350 is better off since it offers more expandable storage, larger battery and better front facing camera.
