Intel To Launch A Budget Android Phone Under Rs. 7000

Few days ago Debjani Ghosh, Intel’s MD for South Asia has said that they are working with some OEMs to launch a Rs. 7000 phone in India which will be powered by Intel’s processor. By doing this Intel is trying to enter one of the most rapidly growing mobile market in the world. If Intel launches phone in this segment then they will hit upper middle segment of the mobile market in India.

Few days ago, Lexington was listed on Bluetooth SIG website, BGR India is reporting that this device could be the same device about which Debjani Ghosh was talking. Intel might sell this device to all OEMs partners around the world. This device might run on Android platform. This phone is currently headed to Kenya, Africa

Currently we don’t have full fledge information about Lexington, but what we know is that this device might have a 3.2 or even smaller HVGA screen, it might run on Android 4.0, as Intel wont want to introduce its phone on Gingerbread OS which is very old. It will have 3G and WiFi support for connectivity.

Recently Apple also released their latest iTunes version that is iTunes 11 which is not mere an increment in the version number but also bundles few drastic improvements in performance and user experience. This update was available worldwide and was for 200 MB.

Nokia Asha 205 Facebook QWERTY Phone Launched At Rs. 3499

Nokia India has launched its entry level Nokia Asha 205 phone in the Asha series which is a QWERTY keyboard phone with dedicated Facebook button and functionalities. The price of the phone starts at just Rs. 3499 for the single SIM version and a Dual SIM model has also been launched. The sales of this new phone start from December 24th 2012 in India which is the Christmas festival season. Along with this new phone, Nokia has also introduces a special Bluetooth based sharing feature called SLAM in which content like photos, videos and songs can be quickly shared with other Bluetooth enabled mobile phones without pairing the two phones. It also works with the old Bluetooth phones without SALM technology.

The technological giant,Apple, launched their latest addition to the iPad series in India on 7th December 2012. The iPad mini and iPad 4 were announced earlier this year at the iPad event in California, United States. The iPad mini is a 7.9-inch model of the iPad legacy with all new lighting connector, the 8-pin dock for data synchronization and charging. It is powered by the same processor that was found in iPad 2 that is A5X. Panasonic India has launched two of its new generation products from the Toughbook series in India on 5th December 2012 in New Delhi India. These two devices are very unique in terms of the features they offer.
