Microsoft Lumia 940, Lumia 940XL Reportedly Launching On October 19

While reports about the launch of Microsoft Lumia 940 and Lumia 940XL have been hinting at October 2015 launch, a new report has revealed that the two high-end smartphones will be announced on October 19 in New York alongside Surface Pro 4 and Band 2.

Though earlier reports were suggesting that these high-end smartphones will be called Lumia 950 and 950XL, the latest reports suggest that they be named as Lumia 940 and 940XL. Lava Iris X5 4G Launched At Rs. 10,199: Specifications & Features

Soon after launching its first ever Android phone Lava Pixel V1 in July 2015, Lava has launched a new smartphone called the Lava Iris X5 4G in the Indian market.

As for specifications, the Iris X5 4G is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution, 294ppi pixel density and Asahi Dragontrail glass. There is 16GB of inbuilt memory which comes with expandable support up to 32GB using microSD card. The Lava Iris X5 4G sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8 mega pixel front facing camera.

LG G Flex 3 Leaked Specifications Surface Online, Expected To Launch In March 2016

LG is said to be working on the next iteration of its G Flex curved smartphone, dubbed the LG G Flex 3. Leaked specifications of the device have started making rounds online. Furthermore, the successor of LG G Flex 2 is said to be launching in March 2016.

As per rumors, the G Flex 3 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The Snapdragon 820 will certainly solve all heating issues which users face with the current G Flex 2. It will feature a 6-inch display with 1440p resolution. To recall, the first generation G Flex came with a 6-inch display with 720p resolution while second generation of the device packs a 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution.

Huawei Y6 Scale Specifications Leaked

Huawei is reportedly working on a new entry-level smartphone called the Huawei Y6 Scale, leaked specifications of which have surfaced online. The device is expected to be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with Adreno 304 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It will feature a 5-inch display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and 294ppi pixel density. The handset will come with 8GB of inbuilt storage onboard.

On software front, it will run Android 5.0 operating system wrapped under Huawei’s Emotion UI. The device will sport an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Measuring 8.3mm in thickness, it will be backed up by a 2200mAh battery. As for connectivity, it will offer 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth options.

Motorola Moto X 3rd Gen Images Leaked

Ahead of probable launch on July 28, leaked images of Motorola Moto X 3rd Gen have surfaced online. The alleged images show front facing camera accompanied with LED flash. The device is also said to feature a fingerprint sensor in the bottom speaker which will require users to swipe across the speaker to unlock the phone.

As for specifications, it is said to arrive with hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 4GB of RAM, Android 5.1.1 operating system, 5.2-inch Quad-HD AMOLED display, 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage, 16 mega pixel rear camera, 5 mega pixel front facing camera and a 3280mAh battery.

Sony Xperia S60 And S70 Reportedly Launching Soon

Sony is reportedly working on its two high-end smartphones- Sony Xperia S60 and Xperia S70. The devices are likely to be introduced before IFA 2015 conference. If reports are to be believed, both high-end phones will be available in Europe in mid-August or August 18, to be specific.

Both devices will feature 32GB of inbuilt storage. As for color options, the Xperia S60 will be available in White, Black, Yellow and Coralie colors while the Xperia S70 will be launched in White, Gold and Black color options. Rest of the details about features and specifications of the phone are scarce as of now and are likely to surface in the coming days.

LG F600L Smartphone With Snapdragon 808 SoC And 4GB RAM Surfaces Online

LG is reportedly working on a new smartphone. An unannounced phone dubbed the LG F600L smartphone has been spotted on a benchmarking website. According to the website, the LG F600L will come with a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.44GHz paired with 4GB of RAM.

LG’s latest flagship smartphone, LG G4 is also powered by a Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, hinting that LG F600L could be an upgraded variant of the flagship phone. The upcoming device will however pack 4GB of RAM as opposed to 3GB of RAM of G4. The device could also be the Nexus 5 (2015) phone, since LG is said to be working on the same device.
