Motorola introduced its Moto G4 smartphone in India last month, in May 2016. At the time of launch, Motorola announced the pricing and availability details of the Moto G4 Plus while details about Moto G4 were not revealed. Motorola has launched its Motorola Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones in the Indian market. Both smartphones look identical in design and share similar set of specifications, except that the Moto G4 Plus features a fingerprint sensor, more RAM, more internal storage and has a higher resolution rear camera than the Moto G4.
Both smartphones are powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor and feature a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. On software front, both devices run Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Fueled by a 3000mAh battery, the devices support TurboCharging which is said to offer 6 hours of power with 15 minutes of charging.

The main highlight of these phones is their Moto Mods magnetic snap-on rear panels that allow users to snap on an external accessory or module to it. These modules are called Moto Mods and include JBL SoundBoost to boost the audio output of the device and Moto Insta-Share that converts the device into a projector. The Moto Style Shells make use of premium finishes like real leather, wood or patterned fabric. There is a Power Pack module as well, that is said to boost the battery life of the phone by up to 23 hours.

Within a few hours after launching Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones, Motorola has silently introduced its Motorola Moto G Play smartphone. The phone is listed by the company on its official blogspot without pricing and exact availability details.
As for specifications, the Moto G Play is powered by a 64-bit 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
