Lava has just soft-launched the successor of their eTab and the newer version has been dubbed as e7H+. They’ve introduced the tablet with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Acer Budget Android Tablet In India Under Rs. 8000 Coming In January 2013

Acer has been around in India for quite some time but has never really managed to bring a product to the Indian shores which could set the sales charts on fire. But all that is about to change with Acer well on track of launching a new tablet in India with Android Jelly Bean and that too at a price that will give most of the tablets from the Indian manufacturers a run for their money. It will be named as Acer Iconica B instead of the rumored name B1 and will hit the shelves by the 20th of January 2013. This news comes from a reseller of Acer who has shared this information.

This will be the tablet that will be sold all over the world at a price tag of $99 and is expected to be launched at the CES 2013 which kicks off on the 7th of January. The tablet being launched at a price of Rs.7,999 when it will be sold world over at a dollar less than 100, comes as a welcome news for all the people who were disappointed with the steep price of the Nexus, even though it had a lower price tag all over the world. The Acer India website has listed the device with the name of Iconica B l and as per the listing, it shall be powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and will have a 7 inch screen. And the package shall weigh 320 grams.

Intex iBuddy Connect Android Tablet With Voice Calling

Intex technologies considers India as their one of the most important markets and it is quite a leading electronics manufacturer known all over the world. Micromax, Karbonn and all other Indian mobile manufacturers have been launching a wide range of Android based products for quite some time and those have even developed a certain liking in the minds of the people. The Micromax tablets for instance, are the second highest sold tablets in India after Samsung and Micromax seems to be catching up to that number 1 spot quite fast. But there’s another lesser known Indian mobile manufacturer that is slowly, yet steadily catching up to the Indian giants.

Simmtronics, an India based electronics and tablet manufacturing has just launched their first tablet device in the country, the XPAD X-720. As is the industry norm these days, it ships with Android 4.0 ICS and has a 7.0 inch capacitive display and the price is something which makes the device worth considering. Its launched at a very low price point of just Rs.4,600 and at this price point, it does not really have a competitor but the commercial version of the Aakash tablet being the sole competition.

HP 10 Inch Windows 8 Tablet Coming In January 2013

Hewlett Packard seems to be quite aggressive off late when it comes to the Indian market where it continues to have a strong hold and faces cut throat competition from the likes of Dell and Lenovo. Now the Indians have started favoring ultrabooks and tablets over conventional laptops and in-sync with their recently launched ultrabook , a hybrid tablet and an AIO computer, HP looks to foray into the slowly heating up tablet market and has just announced about their next product.

Rajiv Srivastava, president of printing and personal systems, HP India, stated to a website , “HP will be launching a 10 inch Windows 8 based tablet in January next year.” Windows 8 is the next big thing in the computing world and there is not a single company which is not releasing products to capitalize on the huge opportunities the OS brings. The new tablet has been named ElitePad 900 and according to a commercial release by the company had been readied up in July this year.
