Samsung Galaxy O7 Appears On GFXBench, Specifications Leaked

Samsung is reportedly working on a new smartphone in the Galaxy O series, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy O7. The device has been spotted on GFXBench revealing specifications.

According to the benchmark listing, it will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. As for display, the listing shows two displays- a 5.8-inch HD display and a 5-inch HD display, both with 1280×720 pixels resolution. On camera front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Other specifications of the device include 8GB of internal memory and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.

Expanding its Slide series, iBall has launched iBall Slide 6351-Q400i tablet. As far as specifications of the device are concerned, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 7-inch WSVGA display with 1024×600 pixels resolution.

The tablet comes with 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. On camera front, it sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2500mAh battery, it offers 3G (via dongle), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB OTG as connectivity options.

Samsung has launched its latest budget smartphone in the Galaxy series, called the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace. The device is now listed on company’s Indian online store.

The Galaxy J1 Ace features similar set of specifications as the Galaxy J1 which was launched in India earlier this year. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 800×480 pixels resolution. There is 4GB of inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable up to 128GB using microSD card.

Samsung and Oculus have announced the launch of new Gear VR Headset. While the previous Gear VR was compatible with only a few Samsung smartphones, the new Gear VR is compatible with more smartphones. The new compatibility list of smartphones now also includes Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, S6 and S6 Edge.

Compared to the previous version of Gear VR, the new version is 22 percent lighter and also features foam cushioning for more comfort. It also gives greater control to users with its refreshed touchpad. The device comes with accelerator, gyrometer and proximity sensors.
