Samsung has unveiled its Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 smartphone. This handset is essentially the successor of Xcover 2 smartphone which was launched in 2013. The Xcover 3, just like its predecessor is rugged and can withstand extreme conditions. It is in line with MIL-STD 810G specification such that it can bear a fall of up to 1.2 meters and also complies with IP67 rating which means that the phone is dustproof and waterproof (up to 30 minutes in 1 meter of water).
Taiwanese handset manufacturer HTC has launched its smartphone HTC Desire 820s in India. First introduced in November 2014, the Desire 820s has now been brought to Indian shores.
