Samsung has launched its Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) smartphones in South Korea. Under the hood, the Galaxy J7 (2016) packs a 1.6GHz octa-core processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM. The handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels.

The phone comes with 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. On camera front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. It measures 151.7×76.0x7.8 mm, weighs 169 grams and is backed up by a 3300mAh battery.

Yu Yu5530 With MediaTek Helio X10 Chipset, 4GB RAM Spotted

Micromax’s Yu Televentures is reportedly working on a new smartphone. Codenamed Yu Yu5530, the device has appeared on benchmarking website- GeekBench, revealing its specifications and features.

As per the listing, the Yu5530 will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755M) processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The listing shows single-core score of the device as 816 and multi-core score as 3059. On software front, it will run Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It is expected to come with Cyanogen OS, although there is no mention of it in the listing.

Motorola India Sends Out Invites For May 17 Event, Moto G4 & G4 Plus Expected

Motorola India has sent out invites for an event scheduled on May 17, 2016. Although the invite doesn’t reveal any details about the product it is going to launch, it is expected to launch the Motorola Moto G4 and G4 smartphones.

With Moto G4 and G4 Plus smartphones being heavily rumored to be launched around May or June 2016, Motorola’s invite strongly hints that the company is gearing up to launch both devices in India on May 17.
