The Oppo A7 is listed in India at Rs 16,990. It is now available for purchase via Flipkart. As part of an exchange offer, customers can also avail up to Rs 14,900 off. It comes in Glaring Gold and Glaze Blue,

In China, the new handset was launched at CNY 1,599 (approx Rs 16,500) for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. It comes in Fresh Powder, Lake Light Green, and Amber Gold color options. The company launched another variant (3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage) in Nepal with a price tag of NPR 35,790 (approx Rs 22,200).

The new handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and 3GB/ 4GB RAM. The 32GB/ 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 256GB). It is backed by a 4,230mAh battery.

In terms of optics, the Oppo A7 sports a 16-megapixel selfie sensor. It sports a dual rear camera setup on the back (unspecified). Previous reports hinted at a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.4 aperture).

The Oppo A7 runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS out-of-the-box with ColorOS 5.2 on top. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The new handset measures 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.1mm and weighs 168 grams. It sports a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and 88.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Oppo smartphone also comes with a waterdrop-shaped notch. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.

Recently, Oppo launched the Oppo RX17 Pro and RX17 Neo smartphones. Both handsets come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, waterdrop-shaped notch, 25-megapixel AI selfie cam, and feature a 6.4-inch display. Additionally, the Oppo RX17 Pro comes with a triple camera setup on the back. While the Oppo RX17 Neo comes with a price tag of EUR 349 (approx Rs 29,000), the Oppo RX17 Pro costs EUR 599 Euros (approx Rs 49,800).
