Post Facebook’s Cambridge Analytica incident, reports regarding a Twitter data leak have surfaced everywhere and has been confirmed to be true. The microblogging platform sold data access to Global Science Research (GSR), owned by Aleksandr Kogan. Kogan was the Cambridge University academic who created a personality quiz on social networking site Facebook. He used to it gain access to information later used by Cambridge Analytica. Information regarding millions of Facebook users was obtained. The information was provided to a political consulting firm, SCL Group. It was provided without any consent from users.

It is being reported that the Tim Cook-led tech giant Apple is planning to launch a compatible Apple VR headset in 2020. It is being speculated that the headset will also be equipped with dual 8K displays and powerful in-house chips.

The Apple VR headset will allegedly connect to a “box” system through short-range, high-speed wireless technology. The AR and VR wireless headset will also have a powerful in-house chip. The chip will be at the core of the box with a 5-nanometer processor. It will enable the headset’s high-speed and efficient performance. It will have several fitted cameras. The cameras will actively monitor surroundings. According to the report, everything will be made into the box.

Apple’s 2018 6.1-inch iPhone Model May Not Have 3D Touch

Multiple reports have surfaced online that the Cupertino-based tech giant Apple’s 2018 6.1-inch iPhone model may not be built with 3D Touch. This is allegedly due to cost issues. According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (published by Chinese website Feng, the model will use “Cover Glass Sensor”(CGS) technology. It will relocate the device’s touch module from the display panel to the surface glass. The CGS procedure allegedly leads to a display that is shock resistant and more lighter.
