Lava Iris X5 4G Launched At Rs. 10,199: Specifications & Features

Soon after launching its first ever Android phone Lava Pixel V1 in July 2015, Lava has launched a new smartphone called the Lava Iris X5 4G in the Indian market.

As for specifications, the Iris X5 4G is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution, 294ppi pixel density and Asahi Dragontrail glass. There is 16GB of inbuilt memory which comes with expandable support up to 32GB using microSD card. The Lava Iris X5 4G sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8 mega pixel front facing camera.

Google has finally launched its Lava made second generation Android One smartphone, dubbed the Lava Pixel V1.

As far as specifications of the device go, it is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The device runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution, 267ppi pixel density and Asahi DragonTrail Glass protection against scratches. There is 32GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. On camera front, it sports a 13 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and BSI sensor as well as a 8 mega pixel front facing camera with 4P lens.

Lava Made Next-Gen Android One Smartphone Likely To Launch On July 27

While earlier reports were hinting at Lava made next-gen Android One smartphone’s launch on July 14, it did not happen. Now Lava has sent out invites for an event scheduled in New Delhi on July 27 where it is likely to take the wraps off the next-gen Android One smartphone. The invite sent by the company reads- ” Witness the Power of 1.” The 1 in the invite is formed by several features which the device will offer.

As far as specifications of the device go, it will be powered by a MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and feature a 5-inch display. More details about the handset are likely to surface on July 27 at the time of launch. Stay tuned with us for more developments on this story!

Karbonn To Launch Next Generation Android One Smartphone Phone In Q1 2015

Right after the launch of Spice Dream Uno H Android One smartphone, Karbonn has revealed that it will bring the next generation Android One smartphone in first quarter of 2015. Karbonn will come with a new model of Android One smartphone next year as its commitment towards Google’s Android One program. Spice Mobiles has launched Spice Dream Uno H Android One Smartphone in India. This smartphone is the Hindi variant of the existing Android One smartphone which was launched earlier this year by Google. This new launch from Spice offers Hindi user-interface to the users and is priced at Rs. 6,499/-. It is equipped with a Hindi input keyboard, Hindi voice input and Hindi versions of various applications like Sony live, Aajtak, Hungama, Google translate and Spice cloud. With this smartphone, company seeks to reach 300 million Hindi speaking population living in states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar in India.
