Google Play Reduces Minimum Purchase Price For Apps To Rs. 10 In India

Google has announced reduction in minimum purchase price for apps and in-app products on Google Play store from Rs. 50 to Rs. 10. While the minimum price for purchasing apps was Rs. 50 previously, Android users can now download apps from Google Play store for a price as low as Rs. 10. With this move, the company aims to provide more flexibility to users and developers community in India.

It will attract wider audience in the country and Android users will certainly spend more money on purchasing apps and in-built purchases. Besides making apps more affordable to the users, this move will help the company generate more revenue.

Google Handwriting Input Lets You Handwrite Text In 82 Languages

Google has announced the launch of a new handwriting keyboard for Android dubbed the Google Handwriting Input. The input tool is now available to download from Google Play store. After installing it on your smartphone or tablet, set the keyboard as default and you are ready to go. The Handwriting tool supports 82 languages in 20 distinct scripts and allows users to input text using a stylus or their finger. Furthermore, the keyboard is compatible with both printed as well as cursive writing inputs.

Some features of android are right in front of us. But some time we are not able to figure them out. And result, we install some third party apps that runs ad on the board. After years of wait, Google finally launched the Play Books in India last month which now has been witnesses by all of us. Last night on 28th March 2013 Google also launched Play Movies which makes even more sense after the launch of their tablets here in India.

Google Play Movies is its own movie rental and purchase service where the patrons can buy or rent a digital download of their favourite movie titles. Pricing are similar to what one can spend on watching movies in theaters but has been decided considering the Indian mentality alike what Apple did with itunes for example a $17.99 movie on the US Play Store is priced at $9.99 for the Indian Play Store.

Google is now finally shipping its hardware in India. Starting with the tablets first, Google brought the base model of their tablets that is the Nexus 7, 16GB wifi only variant in India. Google Nexus 7 is the 7-inch Android tablet which has is manufactured by ASUS.
