Honor 4C Launched In India At Rs. 8,999: Details & Hands On Review

Honor, a brand under Huawei has launched its Honor 4C smartphone in the Indian market. The handset is priced at Rs. 8,999 and is available to buy exclusively on Flipkart.com. Alongside 4C phone, Honor has also launched a 13,000 mAh powerbank with dual charging ports and Honor Bee smartphone. As for specifications, the Honor 4C is powered by a 1.2 GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 620 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and runs Android 4.4 KitKat wrapped under EMUI 3.0 OS. Other specs include 5 inch HD IPS (1280×720 pixels resolution) display, 13 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 5 mega pixel front shooter, 8GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB) and 2550 mAh battery.

Leaked Images Of Samsung Z2 Tizen Smartphone Surface Online

Last month it was reported that Samsung is working on two Tizen smartphone- Samsung Z2 and another global smartphone. Now images of the former smartphone have started making rounds on the internet. The successor of Samsung Z1, the Z2 phone is said to be an entry level phone unlike the forthcoming global Tizen smartphone which will be a mid-ranger. According to the leaked images, the Tizen based Samsung Z2 will feature a physical home bottom in the centre, just like the Samsung Galaxy line-up. The volume buttons will be the same as in Samsung Z1. It will also feature front facing camera and Proximity / Light / Gesture sensors. The Z2 is expected to be launched later this year.

Oppo seems to be gearing up for the launch of its forthcoming smartphone Oppo R7. As per the latest reports, Oppo has started sending out invites for an event scheduled on May 20, 2015 in Beijing where it is likely to launch the R7 smartphone. Furthermore, the company has shared a teaser as well which has revealed that the upcoming smartphone will feature metal unibody design.

As for specifications, the handset is rumored to come with a octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor, 4.7-inch display, 20.7 mega pixel rear camera and 2000 mAh battery.

Microsoft To Launch Two High-End Lumia Smartphones Later This Year

Microsoft is reportedly working on its two high-end Lumia smartphones codenamed Microsoft Cityman and Talkman. Both smartphones are said to be running Windows 10 at the time of their launch in second half of this year. Furthermore, leaked specifications of both handsets have started making rounds on the internet. According to a publication named Unleash The Phones, the Lumia Cityman will come with an octa-core Snapdragon Qualcomm processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. It will feature a 5.7-inch QHD. Other specifications of the Cityman Lumia smartphone include a 20 mega pixel rear camera, 5 mega pixel front facing camera, 32 GB of inbuilt storage with expandability support via microSD card and a 3300 mAh battery.

Gionee launched its flagship Elife S7 phone in India earlier this month while now the company is said to be working on its next flagship phone. Gionee’s upcoming flagship phone (GN9008) has been spotted on database of benchmarking website named GFXBench. Furthermore, the handset is likely to be called Gionee Elife E8.

According to the listing of the handset on GFXBench, it will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, it will feature a 4.6-inch quad-HD display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution.
