Ford Announces Smart Mobility Initiatives At MWC Shanghai

At MWC Shanghai, Ford has unveiled its Smart Mobility initiatives. The company made numerous announcements aimed to deliver mobility solutions to people across the world.

Ford has announced four new SYNC AppLink partnerships that are aimed at offering the drivers their favorite apps with SYNC voice commands. Out of the four partnerships, three are in China, and one in Thailand.

OnePlus Ties Up With ReGlobe For Exchange/Buyback Program In India

OnePlus in partnership with ReGlobe has announced exchange/buyback program in India. Under this offer, customers can exchange their old smartphones for a brand-new OnePlus smartphone. This offer is valid till December 31, 2015.

Furthermore, if the exchange/buyback price of old smartphone is Rs.5,000 or more, then buyers will get new OnePlus 2 with B2X service and OnePlus X with B2X On-Guard Plus service for free. To recall, the B2X service costs Rs. 999 and covers manufacturers warranty for OnePlus 2 for one additional year after the expiry of original manufacturer’s warranty. The B2X On-Guard service is for OnePlus X and costs Rs. 699.

Fitbit has announced broad availability of its activity and sleep tracking products in India. While Fitbit was launched in India on Amazon earlier this year in June 2015, the entire product range will now also be available to buy from leading Reliance Digital, Croma and Helios retail stores starting September 2015.

Moreover, in a bid to help Indians live healthy lives, the company has also launched its FitStar Personal Trainer in the country. FitStar delivers personalized video based workouts to the users. It also allows users to track their daily activities using Fitbit devices and provides them with customized exercise programs. It lets users publish their FitStar workouts to Fitbit to know how the personal training is impacting their health.
