Microsoft has made some major announcements in a special event in New York last night. From Windows 10 to VR headset and Surface Studio, the event was full of innovative announcements. Lenovo has launched its latest Windows 10 running notebook, called the Lenovo IdeaPad 100S, in India. As far as specifications are concerned, it is powered by a 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor paired with 2GB of DDR3L RAM. It features a 11.6-inch multi-touch TN GL display with 1366×768 pixels resolution.
The device houses 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded further using microSD card. The notebook also comes with a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. Running Windows 10 operating system, the notebook comes with Cortana feature and also allows users to customize the desktop.
Microsoft has launched its 2-in-1 device- Microsoft Surface Pro 4 in the Indian market. The Surface Pro 4 succeeds the Surface Pro 3 and comes with several upgrades over its predecessor.
Surface Pro 4 is powered by sixth generation Intel core processor paired with 4GB or 8GB of RAM. It features a 12.3-inch PixelSense display with pixel density of 267ppi and resolution of 2160×1440 pixels. On design front, it looks similar to its predecessor Surface Pro 3 however the Pro 4 is slimmer with 8.4 mm thickness as compared to 9.1mm thickness of Pro 3.
iBall has re-launched its 2-in-1 tablet, called the iBall Slide WQ149R in the Indian market. While the latest variant runs Windows 10, the previous variant supported Windows 8.1 and was launched in March 2015. Besides Windows 10 operating system, another highlight of the new variant is that it comes with inbuilt hard disk slot and supports up to 1TB internal 2.5-inch SATA hard drive.
As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z3735F processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It features a 10.1-inch IPS multi-touch display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. On camera front, it sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front facing camera.
Microsoft has launched its flagship smartphone Microsoft Lumia 950 in India alongside Lumia 950 XL. Loaded with high end specifications, Continuum feature and more, the Lumia 950 is certainly going to give its rivals, run for their money.
As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor paired with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Running Windows 10 operating system, the device features a 5.2-inch QHD AMOLED display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution and 564ppi pixel density. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the screen against scratches.
Pantel technologies has launched its latest budget tablet, called the Pantel Penta T-Pad WS802X. Highlight of this device is that it is company’s first tablet that runs Windows.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It features an 8-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280×800 pixels. There is 16GB of internal memory onboard which can be expanded further up to 64GB using microSD card. The tablet sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera as well as a 2 mega pixel front snapper. Backed up by a 4000mAh battery, it is claimed to survive for up to 8 hours on single charge. It measures 207.4×122.1×8.5mm in dimensions. Connectivity options which the Penta T-Pad WS802X offers, include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
