Black Shark (Xiaomi-backed gaming smartphone brand) announced its first handset in April this year. It was initially launched in China. Now, the gaming device is listed for sale in Europe in multiple variants. It is being touted as the world’s first liquid-cooled smartphone. The Xiaomi Black Shark is now listed in Black and Grey color options for European customers. While the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is priced at EUR 469 (approx Rs 38,300), the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs EUR 519 (approx Rs 42,400). The company is offering a discount of EUR 30 (approx Rs 2,400).

In China, the gaming smartphone was launched at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 31,400) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM/ 128GB internal storage model comes costs CNY 3,499 (approx Rs 36,600). As of now, there is no information about Indian price or launch date.

The gaming handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with an Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB/ 8GB RAM. The 64GB/ 128GB of internal storage cannot be further expanded externally. The powerful device is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Black Shark sports a dual camera setup on the back. It uses a 12-megapixel primary sensor (1.25-micron pixel size) and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor (1.0-micron pixel size). For selfies and video calling, the gaming smartphone sports a 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.0-micron pixel size.
