Micromax just can not stay out of the headlines. Their latest entrant in the smartphone arena, the Micromax A116, the cheapest 720p quad core smartphone has received more than what we can call a warm reception and even though the device seems to making its way to the retail stores, it still is out of stock at a lot of places. But Micromax is not done yet. They are all set to bring a new device to the party.

The images of the country’s first ever budget 3D smartphone have skipped on to the interweb and who else but Micromax will be the company launching it. Micromax Canvas 3D A115 will be the name of the device suggesting that it will be slotted below the A116 and a 3D device at a sub Rs.15,000 price surely gets our heartbeat racing. The smartphone will feature a similar body as the Micromax A115.

Samsung is of the opinion if it’s big, it’s better. And it plans on staying ahead of the competition. In recent times, the size of the smartphones have been increasing and Samsung has just launched their Mega series of mid range phablets. The junior member, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 will be the cheaper one and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 will be the dearer one. And today we are going to tell you about the Galaxy Mega 5.8.

The smartphone as the name suggests has a 5.8 inch screen of qHD resolution which translates into a pixel density of 199ppi which is nothing great but it does so to keep the costs in check. It has a dual core processor of Cortex A15 architecture ticking at 1.4 GHz. It will run on the latest version of Android, 4.2 Jelly Bean and it might the 5.0 Key Lime Pie update as well seeing the fact that Samsung believes in keeping customers happy in the upgrade department.

Karbonn Mobiles launched an 4.5 inch android Ice Cream Sandwich device powered by 1 GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor along with Broadcom’s 3G platform. Broadcom Corporation is a semiconductor company in the wireless and broadband communication business.Broadcom is the top 10 semiconductor Vendors by revenue in 2012. This phone is available through online retailers like Flipkart. The official price of this device is INR 7990/-.  The phone has very decent specifications for its price. It has 4.5 inch capacitive touch screen with 854×480 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1800 mAh battery. On the back it has 5 MP camera, and at front it has a VGA camera for video calling. With 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor and 512 MB RAM it will give the decent performance. For storage there is 4 GB internal memory with up to 32 GB expandable SD card support.

Lava has announced their latest addition to their Android smart phone line up – the Iris 455. Lava made this announcement on the blockbuster phone day when a lot of other participants had something of their own. Prior to this Lava had launched Iris 454 for Rs. 8,499 which is a lot similar to this. The only significant difference between the two is of the operating system, that is Iris 454 runs on Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich where the new Iris 455 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

As we know that Micromax earlier announced that he wants a big market share in Indian mobile market, so it will release a new phone at regular time basis. So Micromax is launched another new micro price and max feature phone in India. This time it launched Micromax Ninja A91 packed with  Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system, 1GHz dual core processor, and 512MB RAM. This phone will be compete with the Huawei Ascend G510, XOLO A700. It has 5 MP back camera and a VGA front camera too. The phone is listed on sohalic.com to buy worth INR 8,499.

Samsung Galaxy Y Plus And Galaxy Young Launched In India- Video Review And Details

Samsung has quietly slipped their entry level droid, the Galaxy Y Plus and Galaxy Young and both these smartphones can now be ordered from different e-commerce websites. The Galaxy Y Plus will take on from where the Galaxy Y will depart and Galaxy Young will be an altogether new smartphone.

Galaxy Y Plus comes with a 2.8 inch display and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The smartphone will have a 850 MHz processor as its heart. It will support two GSM sim cards and will offer an internal storage of 4GB which can be expanded by 32GB via a microSD card. It will feature 3G, Wi-fi and Bluetooth for connectivity.

Micromax Canvas Viva A72- Entry Level Canvas Phone Launched At Rs. 6999

Micromax launched another phone in canvas series, this time it is the cheapest one with outdated specifications. The phone is named Micrmax A72 Canvas Viva with 5 inch WVGA screen and 800×480 pixels resolution. The phone supports dual SIM with dual standby. There is 1 GHz processor with 256 MB RAM and 110 MB internal memory. Storage is expandable up to 32 GB via SD card. The phone comes with outdated android operating system 2.3.6 gingerbread. There is 3 MP camera at back without LED flash and a VGA front facing camera too for video calling support.

For connectivity it comes with 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3, micro USB and 3.5mm jack but there is not any information available about the 3G support. The phone is listed on Flipkart with coming soon status. The two other smartphones under canvas series that is Micromax canvas 2 and Micromax canvas HD  were bestseller with good specifications, but this phone is surely not a good choice, although the price is not out yet. But we have to see what price will Micromax will offer with this device.
