Honor 7 is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 935 processor paired with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU and 3GB of RAM while OnePlus 2 comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with Adreno 430 GPU and 4GB of RAM.


Both smartphones feature full HD displays but there is a difference in display sizes. The Honor 7 packs a 5.2-inch display while OnePlus 2 flaunts a slightly larger, 5.5-inch display.

Operating System

While the Honor 7 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under Emotion UI 3.1, OnePlus 2 runs OxygenOS based on Android 5.1.


The Honor 7 comes with a 20 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash, phase detection autofocus, Sony IMX230 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lenses and sapphire glass protection. It comes with several modes like beauty, light painting and good food for capturing stunning shots. For selfie lovers, it sports an 8 mega pixel front snapper.

The OnePlus 2 on the other hand, comes with a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Apparently, the Honor 7 packs better camera combination.


Honor 7 houses 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The OnePlus 2 has 64GB inbuilt storage but it lacks microSD card support.


Honor 7 is fueled by a 3100mAh battery while the OnePlus 2 is backed up by a slightly larger 3300mAh battery.

The Honor 7 is sleeker and lighter with 8.5mm thickness and 157 grams weigh as compared to 9.85mm thickness and 175 grams weight of OnePlus 2.

Both smartphones pack top of the line specifications. The OnePlus 2 offers slightly larger display, larger battery and more RAM but it costs Rs. 2,000 than Honor 7. The Honor 7 despite its lower price, does not fail to impress us in any department. It comes with outstanding camera combination and microSD card support for expandable storage.
