Here’s All We Think We Know About LG V30

LG’s first phone of 2017 to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip is the V30. This phone is also the first time LG will (reportedly) use an OLED display on its device. In the pecking order, the V30 will sit above the G6 and that’s fine. In that sense, it will be a competitor to Samsung Note 8. However, to go up against that phone, it will need to have some powerful specs and a host of features. With that in mind, here’s a lowdown on LG V30 price in India, specifications and features. Do note that this information is based on reports and can change anytime, until the phone is launched.

As per famous tipster Evan Blass on Twitter, this is what the LG V30 may look like.

LG V30 Price in India

Price (expected) Rs 60,000

The LG V30 sits atop the LG G6 in the company’s pecking order. Hence, it will also have a bigger price tag to sport. However, if the G6’s price is any indication, expect the V30 to come with not as ambitious a price tag as is expected for the Galaxy Note 8.

LG V30 India Launch Date

Launch Date (expected) October/November 2017

Since it is going to be LG’s big launch of 2017, the LG V30 should come to India in the above-mentioned time frame. At that time, everyone’s minds will be ruled by the latest iPhone and Pixel 2. However, since LG is bringing some big changes to its smartphone lineup with the V30, it has a chance at disrupting the established status quo. Plus, it may be able to squeeze a lead over either phone when it comes to being on sale in India.

The spec-sheet of the LG V30 is going to be loaded with powerful hardware. The most notable change this year is LG switching to an OLED display for the V30. This will help the company in offering a bezel-less smartphone display. We are not expecting a curved-edge display but giving a bezel-less display on the V30 should not be a big issue for LG. Expect the secondary display and dual rear cameras to be present on this smartphone. If LG offers the V30 with wireless charging, it will be a nice gimmick to add to this smartphone.

Like all the range-topper phones this year, the LG V30 will come packed with features. However, do not expect its design to be radical. The G6’s design may come to this phone which will serve it quite nicely. After all, the G6’s design has been praised by even the staunchest of LG’s critics. Also, LG has got nothing to lose by going with a traditional design.
