Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 the second device in the Galaxy Mega series after Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. It was announced this summer along with Galaxy Mega 6.3 after the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch. Galaxy Mega 5.8 is a phablet device from Samsung in a compltely new series called as Mega. As the manufacturer says don’t go just big go mega, we also thought to tried to go mega with this device. Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 launched in India this summer is the first smartphone to be arrive in India with 6.3-inch screen size. Taking the term big screen to a new level Samsung has been trying to justify the screen size with additional features packed with the device. Samsung to launch Galaxy Note 3 on September 4th in Berlin

Samsung today on 5 August 2013 announced the Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2, the second iteration to the yearly Unpacked event. Early this year Samsung announced Galaxy S4 in New York City at the first unpacked event on March 14th and now for the first time holding another unpacked event in the same year for another big unveiling.

Samsung Unpacked events are generally for flagships announcements and after Galaxy S4, Samsung has the next Note waiting. Though there has been no clear news that what will be announced but it is expected for Note 3. The Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 is scheduled for September 4th just before IFA in Berlin itself. Samsung had launched the Note and the Note II in 2011 and 2012 IFAs respectively and Note III was expected at this IFA itself but it looks like they will give Note a separate launch event.

Summarising the rumors, Note 3 is expected to arrive with a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 13MP rear camera and Android 4.3 JellyBean OS. It is expected to pack the latest Exynos 5 Octa 5420 and Snapdragon 800 processor varying with region and 3GB of RAM. It is also expected to come with LTE advanced (LTE-A) support for selected markets.

The Samsung Unpacked 2013 event on 4th September, 2013 in Berlin, Germany at 7:00 PM CEST (10:30 PM IST) would be live streamed on Samsung’s YouTube channel probably.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Launch In India– Price, Hands On Review And Details

Samsung India has launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 in India on 18th July 2013 in a launch event in New Delhi India. The two devices (out of three global models) in the series which have been launched in India are the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 8.0 both of which come with many software and hardware similarities but they have different specifications and performance levels. The major difference between these two tablets is the display size and processors which power these tablets.

Interestingly, both these tablets run Android Jelly Bean OS like other new Galaxy devices like the S4 and Mega series. There are three models launched, the 7 inch Tab 211 with android 4.1 and 3G + WiFi and two 8 inch models (Tab 310 and Tab 311) which has been launched with a Wifi only and WiFi + 3G model. The Tab 2 have been very popular because of their good value proposition and the Tab 3 is expected to carry the same philosophy forward.
