Samsung Galaxy Y Plus And Galaxy Young Launched In India- Video Review And Details

Samsung has quietly slipped their entry level droid, the Galaxy Y Plus and Galaxy Young and both these smartphones can now be ordered from different e-commerce websites. The Galaxy Y Plus will take on from where the Galaxy Y will depart and Galaxy Young will be an altogether new smartphone.

Galaxy Y Plus comes with a 2.8 inch display and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The smartphone will have a 850 MHz processor as its heart. It will support two GSM sim cards and will offer an internal storage of 4GB which can be expanded by 32GB via a microSD card. It will feature 3G, Wi-fi and Bluetooth for connectivity.

Acer Iconia A1-810 Quad Core Android Tablet Revealed

A new quad core tablet is appeared on the French retailer Rue Du Commerce website, this time Acer launched an 7.9 inch IPS display with a 1,024 x 768 pixel resolution, although there is not any official word from the Acer. This device will be compete with the Nexus 7 and the iPad Mini. Although Acer is little late to the game. The tablet will expected to run latest android 4.2 jelly bean with 1 GHz mediatek quad core processor and 1 GB RAM. There are 5 MP camera at the back and a VGA front camera too for video calling. The device is powered by 3,250 mAh battery which is pretty good. Apart from this, device comes with 16 GB on board storage with SD card support too. There is a micro HDMI port too. Currently this device is only available on the French retailer Rue Du Commerce, It is priced at €199 (or around $259) and is expected to ship in June. Other markets and prices will be announced as the release date gets closer.

Micromax Canvas Viva A72- Entry Level Canvas Phone Launched At Rs. 6999

Micromax launched another phone in canvas series, this time it is the cheapest one with outdated specifications. The phone is named Micrmax A72 Canvas Viva with 5 inch WVGA screen and 800×480 pixels resolution. The phone supports dual SIM with dual standby. There is 1 GHz processor with 256 MB RAM and 110 MB internal memory. Storage is expandable up to 32 GB via SD card. The phone comes with outdated android operating system 2.3.6 gingerbread. There is 3 MP camera at back without LED flash and a VGA front facing camera too for video calling support.

For connectivity it comes with 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3, micro USB and 3.5mm jack but there is not any information available about the 3G support. The phone is listed on Flipkart with coming soon status. The two other smartphones under canvas series that is Micromax canvas 2 and Micromax canvas HD  were bestseller with good specifications, but this phone is surely not a good choice, although the price is not out yet. But we have to see what price will Micromax will offer with this device.

LG Optimus L3 II And L7 II Launched In India

LG has just launched two new smartphones in the country or rather we should say two new smartphones from the company have been listed on e-commerce website, flipkart.com for purchase. LG Optimus L3 II Dual and LG L7 II Dual are the smartphones is question and they have been listed on the LG website as well. The official launch price of these phones (MRP) is Rs. 8,800 and Rs. 18,650 respectively. However, as per the best buy price on some of the leading online retailers,  the L3 II Dual is available for Rs.7,899 whereas the L7 II Dual is available for Rs.14,990.

As you can see both device have the same type of specification and also both device have the same type of design and form factor too. The main difference between both device is of type of processor. Samsung Galaxy Star comes with 1 GHz processor whether Samsung Pocket Neo comes with 850 MHz processor. And both comes with the latest version of Bluetooth and have the same battery too.  These devices also comes with some new type of features and services. Samsung brings Intelligent Motion UI with these devices. There are other features like Shake to update, Turn over to mute will also make the user experience amazing. Before it, these features were only available with Samsung high end devices. The availability of Single SIM version or Dual SIM version varies by markets.

At the launch event, HTC and Facebook announced the first device of their partnership, the HTC First which will be the first device to run Facebook Home out of the box and it is available for ordering on AT&T’s website for $99.99 with a two year contract.
