Videocon lunches 7 inch tablet with Calling facility at price INR 9000

Videocon Group launched a 7 inch tablet in Indian market along with 3G calling facility. This tablet has pretty decent specifications at price Rs 8999/-. But I don’t think this tablet is worthy at this price point because you can get Nexus 7 tablet at only thousand more price which has better specifications, if,  you don’t consider the calling facility of Videocon tablet. Yes, Nexus 7 does not have calling facility, but it has the better processor and more storage than Videocon tablet. So at a price Rs. 8999/- this deal does not sounds good. And you can say if you want to buy a 7 inch tablet under INR 10,000 Nexus 7 is for everyone.

Lenovo launches its first windows 8.1 tablet MIIX 2

The popular laptop manufacturer Lenovo launches the successor of its 8 inch tablet Miix. Lenovo launches Mixx 2 with decent specifications and price around 299$ for 32 GB version and will go further for 64 and 128 GB versions. It is powered by Intel’s quad core Bay Trail-T processor  with 2 GB RAM that makes it quite efficient to run any app from windows store.

The best thing I like about it, is that it comes with both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, so if you don’t have Wi-Fi coverage than you have a option of 3G connectivity too. And beside that you can attend phone calls on it. That makes it 8 inch phablet running windows 8.1 and that’s pretty amazing.
