Apple iPad mini and Apple iPad 4 launched In India

The technological giant,Apple, launched their latest addition to the iPad series in India on 7th December 2012. The iPad mini and iPad 4 were announced earlier this year at the iPad event in California, United States. The iPad mini is a 7.9-inch model of the iPad legacy with all new lighting connector, the 8-pin dock for data synchronization and charging. It is powered by the same processor that was found in iPad 2 that is A5X. The iPad mini is available in WiFi only and Cellular + WiFi variants with 16, 32 and 64GB storage options with pricing as follows:

These two devices are very unique in terms of the features they offer. The A1 Toughpad is the only business ruggedized android tablet in the world and features a hardware based security features which works at the processor level and is US Federal government security level 2 certified. The Panasonic A1 Toughpad is also very rugged in construction and is water as well as dust resistant.

The Toughpad A1 can be used in very rough environments and can withstand a fall of over 75 cm without any damage. It has magnesium alloy body construction and had special reinforced chassis which protects it from all angles. It had an in-build 3G SIM slot and has a micro USB and Micro HDMI port too. A magnetic strip reader (credit/debit card reader) and a bar code reader can also be attached using the USB port for special industrial or commercial applications. It has been designed keeping the business needs in mind and it as been priced at Rs. 75,000 + Taxes in India.

Samsung Galaxy Note II “Incredible Art Piece” World Record Breaking Attempt

Samsung Mobile India has launched an initiative to beak the Guinness World Record for most artists contributing to a single art. This Incredible Art Piece was campaign was announced in New Delhi India on 23rd Nov 2012. To kick start this artistic record, popular artists duo Thukral and Tagra contributed their first art piece for this campaign online using the Samsung Galaxy Note II. Also popular Bollywood actress Genelia D’Souza Deshmukh also participated in the campaign. The present world record is held by Great Britain with 201,958 contributions which was established in UK in April 2012.

Panasonic India has launched its latest offering in the toughbook series, the compact yet business rugged toughbook model, the CF-SX2 in India. The target customers of the Toughbook compact CF-SX2 are business and corporate users who have to use their laptops in difficult environments where there are high chances of physical damage to the laptops by accidental fall of laptop, or objects falling on laptop, or in fields where high reliability and mobility is involved like the health care sector. Samsung Launches ATIV Smart PC-Tablet Hybrid and Touch Screen Windows 8 Laptops In India

Samsung India has launched its full series of new touch screen Windows 8 based ultrabooks (laptops) of series 5 and series 9, tablet-uktrabook hybrids known as ATIV Smart PC and ATIV Smart PC Pro in India on 27th November 2012 in New Delhi. The most innovative products in this series is the ATIV smart PCs. The price of the ATIV smart PC is Rs. 53,990 while the ATIV Smart PC Pro has been priced at Rs. 74,590. The pricing may seem a bit premium, but these devices combine the power of a full fledged ultrabook in a tablet form factor with a full size detachable keyboard base. These tablets also offer the popular S-Pen stylus from Samsung which is used in the Samsung Note series of devices. S-Pen makes it very handy to use the handwriting and picture editing based tasks using more natural handwriting and drawing gestures rather than using a mouse or track pad.
