Intex Aqua Amoled Launched: Price, Specs & Features

Handset maker Intex Aqua Amoled has launched its new budget smartphone Intex Aqua Amoled in India. The dual-SIM handset as the name suggests, features a 4-inch WVGA Amoled display. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor paired with 512 MB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4.2 operating system. On photography front, there is a 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash on the rear and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. Rear camera features include scene detection, face recognition, Panorama shot, HDR and continuous shot.

Datawind PocketSurfer 2G4 & PocketSurfer 3G4 Smartphones Launched

Datawind, the Canadian firm known for its Aakash tablets has launched its two new budget smartphones, Datawind PocketSurfer 2G4 & PocketSurfer 3G4 in India. Datawind has also partnered with RCom to offer free unlimited data with the devices for one year which includes web browsing, email and social networking. The dual-SIM DataWind PocketSurfer 2G4 under the hood, packs a 1 GHz Cortex A5 processor coupled with 256 MB of RAM. Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, it features a 3.5 inch capacitive display with 480 x 320 pixels resolution.
