Huawei Honor Smartphones To Come With SOS Feature

Honor, a brand under Huawei has announced that it will embed SOS feature in its Honor smartphones in India.

The SOS feature will act as an emergency alarm. It will send SMS to three numbers which users will have to pre-set. Users can choose the action to activate the feature. In case of emergency, users will be able to send their location to the pre-set numbers. The SOS feature will be embedded in upcoming batches of Honor smartphones. The Honor smartphones which have been already sold will also get the feature by updating software. The feature will be embedded in existing smartphones including- Honor 6 Plus, Honor 4X, Honor 4C and Honor 6.

Huawei Honor 4A Announced: Price, Specifications & Features

Huawei’s Honor brand has launched its latest budget smartphone, called the Huawei Honor 4A in China. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1GHz. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Huawei’s EMUII 3.1, it features a 5-inch display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The Honor 4A packs 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which is capable of further expandability using microSD card.

On camera front, it sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2200mAh battery, the smartphone offers 4G LTE support besides usual set of connectivity options.

Honor 4C Hands On And First Impressions

Huawei launched its Honor 4C smartphone in India last month alongside Honor Bee phone. The Honor 4C is priced at Rs. 8,999 and can be grabbed exclusively from Flipkart.com. With this price tag, Honor 4C looks like a challenge for the likes of Yu Yureka and Lenovo A7000 which are available for the same price. It shares some specs in common with the Honor 4X smartphone. A major difference between the two however is that the former lacks 4G LTE support and comes at relatively lower price.

Huawei Honor 7 Launched: Price, Specs & Features

Huawei has launched its Honor 7 smartphone in China. As for specifications, the device comes with an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 935 processor paired with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under Emotion UI 3.1 and features a 5.2-inch display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The 20 mega pixel rear camera comes with phase detection auto focus which is claimed to deliver auto focus speeds of 0.1 seconds.

The device is backed up by a 3100mAh battery which entails quick charging feature that fully charges the phone fully in 1 hour 25 minutes and to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
