The Notion Ink CAIN is a 10.1 inch Windows powered tab which comes with a keyboard docking which when attached makes it a full features notebook/laptop PC. Micromax Canvas LapTab- Windows+Android Tab India Launch By May 2014

We got a chance to interact with Micromax co-founder Mr. Vikas Jain in New Delhi India at a press conference today where they announced a data bundling partnership with Aircel and Mediatek. On the sidelines of the event, we asked Vikas about the availability of the Micromax Canvas Laptab in India, to which he replied “We will bring it to India in next 45 days”, which means that in the coming fiscal, in around April-May 2014, we should see Micromax launching its first dual boot hybrid table, the Micromax Canvas Laptab in India. More details of the tablet described in the section below. In brief, it is an Intel processor powered 10.1 inch tablet which will be able to run Android Jelly bean and Windows 8.1 OS in dual boot configuration.

We have not seen so many devices running dual operating systems in the market officially. Although there are so many software available out there that allows two operating system to run on a system. As we have not seen so much anticipation from Indian site in Consumer Electronics Show , but this time Micromax has done some exiting work. Micromax came out with a pretty nice laptop-cum-tablet hybrid device, and it is running two operating systems on booting. Users will need to reboot the device to switch from windows to android or vice versa. The news was published on Engadget first. The specifications of this device are already out without price and availability. But we will let you update as soon as it will be available in India.

Earlier we told you about convertible or hybrid devices from Dell, Lenovo and Asus. Now this time another worldwide player of laptop and PC, Sony has comes up with similar this time but at very expensive cost in Indian market. Sony has launched Vaio Flip line in India, Vaio Flip convertibles laptop-cum-tablet devices comes in three display options of 13-inch, 14-inch and 15-inch. The price of these devices is INR 99,990 for Flip 13, Flip 14 will cost INR 94,990 and Flip 15 will cost around INR 1,04,990. These fully featured devices  will be available from the first week of next month.

CES 2014:- Lenovo ThinkPad 8 best Windows tablet will launch in January

Last year Lenovo announced Lenovo Mixx 2, a 8 inch windows tablet with good specifications. Now this year Lenovo geared up to have best windows tablet of 8 inch display. The new Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has higher resolution than any other 8 inch Windows tablet available in the market. Although it doesn’t come close to the retina display of iPad mini. But still it gives pretty good viewing angles. In Mixx 2 Lenovo used 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor, but this time Lenovo launched ThinkPad 8 with 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor. So as performance wise, ThinkPad can compete with other tablets available in the market. Lenovo has also increased the screen size of ThinkPad a little bit as compared to Mixx 2.

Nokia Entered in Tablet market, launched first 10 inch Nokia lumia 2520 tablet

At the Nokia World event held in Abu Dhabi, Nokia launched its first 10 inch windows RT tablet. Nokia said that Lumia 2520 is made to support life on the go, and it is designed for mobility and reliability. It has a unique sense of style and colour. This tablet is running full computer operating system Windows RT. But still this tablet is capable of running videos for ten hours on a single charge. And the best feature is this tablet can go from zero to 80 per-cent  charged in an hour. Nokia made a unique keyboard for this tablet. Nokia  power keyboard comes with a touchpad. The power keyboard also contains an extra battery for up to five hours extra use. Plus two USB port alongside it gives you complete laptop experience, so that you can attach your other USB devices with it too.
