Leaked: ZTE Low Cost Android Phone To Compete With Zenphone & Moto Series

We bring you some exclusive pictures of yet to be launched ZTE budget android smartphone for India which will be launched on 2nd of September 2014 in a launch event in New Delhi India. The phone, as per the leaks show and reliable data from our tipster, gets a HD display which is 5 Inch HD 720p display. The phone also gets most powerful cameras in this segment with a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera. The phone seems to be an Indian sibling of the international model ZTE Nubia Z5S mini. Also the phone will feature a Snapdragon 400 chipset based quad core CPU. The clock speed maybe around 1.2 GHz or higher, it is yet to be known.

Contrary to the price of Rs. 6,999 announced in July 2014 by Xiaomi India, the Xiaomi Redmi 1S has been launched at an even lower price of Rs. 5,999 in India by Xiaomi. It will go on sale from 2nd of September 2014 and the registrations for the sale have already started on Flipkart and Xiaomi India official website. The Xiamo Redmi 1S will be sold exclusively on Flipkart only, just like other Xiaomi phones in India (Mi 3). The phone has an excellent value proposition at this price point because there is virtually no competition at this price. Also the phone does put phones at much higher price to shame with the kind of specs and features it offers. Motorola has done something which we did not expect from the brand. They have dropped the prices of one of their most popular phones in India by a drastic Rs. 2000. This is a limited time discount and the phone is being sold exclusively on Flipkart only. When it was launched in India, Moto G was a path-breaking value offering with a HD display and quad core snapdragon processor in the price segment. At that time, no phone was even close to it in terms of value-for-money in the India market. However, after the Moto G, we saw a slew of phones at similar or better performance specifications launched by many other brands. Some of these include the Oplus Xonphone 5, Xiaomi Redmi Note (yet to go on sale), Asus Zenphone 5, Xolo Q1200 to name a few.

HTC India has launched the HTC One E8 in India at a launch event in New Delhi on 11 July 2014 along with the launch of HTC Desire 616 Dual SIM. The phone is a toned down version of the HTC One M8 which is the flagship which is among one of the best smartphones around in its price segment. The HTC One E8 is powered by a snapdragon 801 chipset which is clocked at 2.5 GHz which is same as the HTC One M8. The phone looks beautiful and nicely built. It comes with 2GB RAM, 16 GB Internal memory, 5 inch Full HD display, Dual SIM feature and Boom Sound. It also features a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front facing camera, both capable of recording full HD videos.
